What You Will Do

Ascension Wisconsin invites you to explore an Emergency Medicine opportunity in Wisconsin. We are actively seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician at Saint Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point, WI. Saint Michael's Hospital is a 94-bed acute care facility.

• Full time ~ 12/13 shifts per month; request schedule
• Trauma Level III
• Annual volume ~ 21,000
• Team boasts excellent relationships with Hospitalist and Surgeons
• Double coverage provided by NPs/PAs 12 hours daily
• Shift times are 6a-6p; 5p-6a
• 15 ED Rooms

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.
  • Current Board Certification required. Board Eligibility accepted if within 2 years of residency completion
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA). 

Education:

• Diploma 
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)  required

Work Experience:

• None required.
