THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION ARE...

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience 
  • A BLS credential through the American Heart Association
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ARE...

  • Registered EEG Tech
  • Management & program development experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's preferred

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL...

  • Be resonsble for two main EEG Labs (Dell Seton and Dell Children's) and all 25-30 EEG Techs 
  • Be responsible for managing EEG Labs, scheduling, equipment upgrades, etc.
  • Develop, implements and evaluates program services and initiatives.
  • Hire, trains, develops and evaluates staff.
  • Assign tasks and prioritizes and coordinates work.
  • Collaborate with others to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.
  • Monitor and adheres to budget.
  • Approve or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to insure compliance with budget guidelines.

Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas, a 211-bed teaching hospital, opened in downtown Austin in 2017.  The new facility is built, owned and operated by Ascension Seton, a member of Ascension, the largest non-profit health system in the U.S. and the world’s largest Catholic health system. It will accommodate more patients than its predecessor and can be expanded in the future.  The medical center is the primary teaching hospital for Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin.* Ascension Seton, which has borne most of the costs for graduate medical education in Austin since 2005, is committed to continuing this support in partnership with University of Texas at Austin. The new medical school is the first to be built at a Tier 1 U.S. research university in nearly half a century. Ascension Seton has played a major role in shaping the school’s signature curriculum and research efforts, which include a focus on creating a more efficient and effective healthcare system and training future physician leaders.

Ascension was founded on November 1st 1999 by the union of the Daughters of Charity National Health System, that was based in St. Louis, Missouri, and the Sisters of St. Joseph Health System, that was based in Nazareth (Kalamazoo), Michigan.  We're the largest Catholic health system in the world and the largest non-profit health system in the United States, with facilities in 23 states and the District of Columbia.  We're a faith-based collaboration of hospitals, medical practices, and innovators that share best practices and the objective of developing healthier communities throughout the US by community outreach and researching means of reducing the cost of healthcare.
