The Sacred Heart Float Staff is composed of associates who demonstrate expertise and flexibility in a variety of areas. As a highly adaptable medical assistant, you will be called to work on various medical group offices and float between clinics in the Pensacola area. This will allow you the opportunity to meet a variety of coworkers and patients within Sacred Heart, and develop your skills as a medical professional.

We offer our PRN associates competitive base hourly pay based on experience, in addition to PRN differential! Our PRN differential is 20% of your base hourly pay.
Schedule: PRN associates have great flexibility in their schedule! Our clinics are open from 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday, and you can work as little 2 full 8-hour days/week, or as much as 5 8-hour days/week.
Assist with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse.
Perform select clinical duties.
Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts.
Prepare treatment rooms for the examination of patients.
Perform basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
Perform basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies.
Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Schedule appointments and procedures and enters charges according to medical office protocol.
Remove sutures and change dressings.
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
High school diploma or GED required
Previous 2+ years’ experience working in a physician office or clinic setting strongly preferred
