What you will do:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) Manager - Women & Family with St. Vincent's Health System-AL, you will have the opportunity to manage Neonatal ICU activities, workflow and nursing resources.
Provide an environment that supports families as they
Ensures departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Assists with hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of nursing staff.
Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in a unit. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
Monitors and adheres to budget(s). Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Preferred Work Experience:
3-5 years of Neonatal ICU experience required.
1 year of leadership or management experience required. Prefer strong servant leader who has experience supporting associates in obtaining excellence in care.
Current clinical skills in the care of Neonatal ICU patients required
Current NRP certification preferred. Completion of S.T.A.B.L.E. program preferred.
