RN Registered Nurse
Department: LDRPN (Labor Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery)
Schedule: PRN; Flexible shifts

St. John Owasso, a member of St. John Health System, has a 24-hour emergency department, state-of-the-art surgical suites, and all-digital diagnostic imaging, featuring CT, MRI, mammography and bone density scanners. The hospital’s Center for Women’s Health is equipped with spacious, modern birthing suites, post-partum and women’s services suites and a newborn nursery.
The LDRPN (Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery) unit has 4 laboring rooms, 1 triage room and 8 postpartum rooms. If you are looking for a smaller team, then look no further! Our team in this department works together to provide care for the patients in the LDRPN. Every associate works cohesively with the interdisciplinary team members to help each patient have the best experience possible. As an Associate with St John Health System, you will have the opportunity to facilitate safe and efficient care to our patients in our LDRPN department. As a valuable member of our team, your expertise in the theory and application of nursing techniques and your combined knowledge of human anatomy, and implementation tools and technologies are used to facilitate a successful patient experience.
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
