What you will do
As a Registered Nurse with the Acute Stepdown Care Team, you will be integrated into our work family. We foster a strong team environment based on mutual respect and trust. Our personalities are strong, but we make sure everyone has a voice in the care of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Qualities our Acute Care Nurse should possess:
Must have a keen sense of ethics
Confidence with the ability to take direction and constructive criticism
Educational competence and continual desire to learn skills to reflect current nursing practices.
Able to communicate effectively in a variety of formats in all areas of practice.
Demonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.
Required Credentials:
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
