What You Will Do
As an Associate with Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, New York, you will have the opportunity to be trained in the roles and responsibilities of our Medical Group Practices. The training will occur over a six-month period. You will experience the day-in-the-life of and shadow in all positions that provide care to patients in our Medical Group Practices; learn the various programs used for patient scheduling, EMR, billing, budgeting, and productivity measures. You will gain hands on experience by shadowing with members of our Management Team and establish positive working relationships with Directors, Managers, Providers and support staff. Following your in-depth training period, you will then be prepared to cover for other Managers within the Medical Group Practices and eventually, be promoted to a Manager position to supervise assigned staff in performing activities or tasks of the assigned practice site(s).
