Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Patient Transportation 001 - Part-Time, Night - Indianapolis-2001 West 86th St - Indianapolis, IN

Two 12 hour shifts per week, 7p - 7:30a, every third weekend, rotating holidays

What You Will Do

As an Associate with St. Vincent Health-IN, you will have the opportunity to perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision in assigned area.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work independently and be attentive to detail.
  • Ensure clear and ongoing communication with both hospital and C4 Command Center.
  • Maintains telemetry monitoring equipment and supply inventory.
  • Coordinate telemetry supplies and needs with C4 Command Center.
  • Delivery of equipment and supplies throughout the hospital.
  • Aids with entry and exit of patients.
  • Ability to assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Required Credential(s):
    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. 

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required

Work Experience:

  • Patient care experience preferred.
