What You Will Do

As an Associate with The Resource Group, you will have the opportunity to manage the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies to manage the operational performance of contracted vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, organizes and directs all activities related to vendor operations performance management, including the development of standard performance measurement tools, setting performance targets, and engaging vendors on corrective action plans.
  • Supports the design and implementation of contracting strategies as it relates to operational terms and conditions that impact our ability to transact the contracts as written.
  • Works with vendor leaders to develop corrective action plans.
  • Reviews and approves vendors' corrective action plans to achieve superior operations performance.
  • Leverages findings from vendor assessments for internal improvement.
  • Authorizes the standardization of the logistics channel of participants and is accountable for the total freight experienced by the system.

What You Will Need

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree preferred

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience required.
  • 5 years of experience preferred.
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Strategic and relationship building experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated process management experience preferred.
