The Specially for Children Center at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMC) is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Rheumatology Physician to provide excellent inpatient, outpatient, and acute service care for children throughout central Texas, as well as for children hospitalized with critical illness with often life threatening diseases. This full time position involves consultation for a multidisciplinary group of pediatric subspecialists, and is involved in the programmatic development and quality of care initiatives supported by Dell Children’s Medical Center. Currently the research being performed at DCMC’s Pediatric Rheumatology Division involves determining patient education, pain evaluation, biologic drug monitoring, and biologic therapy, resulting in some of the highest enrollment numbers in the country.
Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas, a member of the Seton Healthcare Family, is a 248-bed children’s hospital with a level 1 pediatric trauma center and is the only freestanding pediatric facility in the region serving 46-counties.
