Neuro Stepdown RN Immediate Shifts Available:
Fulltime, Night shift 6:30pm-7am. 36 hours per week.
Fulltime, Day shift 6:30am-7pm. 36 hours per week.

Neuro Stepdown is a 28-bed unit with a focus on providing high quality, evidence-based care for acute neurological injury patients. The Stroke team is staffed on the unit providing us ability to treat every stroke patient as a priority. The St. John Heyman Stroke Center program is nationally recognized, earning the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association's Get with the Guidelines - Stroke Gold Plus Award for three consecutive years. This unit is fast paced and a place to truly grow in knowledge and get immediate gratification.

As Registered Nurse working in Neuro Stepdown with St John Health System, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
What You Will Need
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
