St. John Broken Arrow’s Medical/Surgical floor was awarded a 5-Star Award HCAHPS Overall Rating for its Medical/Surgical unit. This unit is seeking Registered Nurses who want to make a difference in the lives of their patients. Our Community Hospital Medical Surgical unit has 23 beds and is comprised of over 30 professionals that are high energy and work cohesively with an excellent group of physicians, nurses, and nursing assistants. We work very hard to welcome all members of the healthcare team as we provide a comprehensive orientation and great learning environment for all employees. You will also be supported and encouraged by our solid leadership team. Some of our specialties offered at this location are Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, Urology, Podiatry, Neurosurgery. With these specialties in mind our Medical Surgical unit will see a wide range of patients. We place a strong focus on patient satisfaction and look to treat every patient as if they are our own family. Our patients deserve the best in healthcare, and we deliver! What You Will Do
As an Associate with St John Health System, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
What You Will Need
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing .
- Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
