What You Will Do
As an Associate with Ascension, you will have the opportunity to assist in performing the calculations of accounts receivable valuation and third party reimbursement, including assisting in cost report preparation and coordination of audits.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares calculations and analyses for valuation of accounts receivable within the revenue cycle analytics tool including actual, budgeted and projected amounts.
- Assists in gathering information for Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, including completing schedules and maintaining support for audits.
- Prepares monthly third-party payer estimated settlements.
- Performs account reconciliations and monthly and quarterly reporting for accounts receivable and third-party reimbursement.
What You Will Need
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
