What You Will Do

As an Associate with Ascension Purchasing and Payables Support, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for resolving inbound requests via phone and chat. You would ensure Supply Chain requests are handled in a manner that meets service levels and achieves client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Receives, resolves and/or appropriately routes inbound telephone and chat requests.
  • Escalates inquiries and requests to the appropriate resource.
  • Leverages Customer Service skills to perform front-line customer support functions and resolves the majority of issues without escalation.
  • Uses existing knowledge, internal training, and system resources to provide best-in-class support for customers.
  • Understands and applies knowledge to resolve issues in the various functional areas including Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Travel & Expense.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert and peer leader to build skills and supports the success of the broader team.
  • Maintains the strictest levels of confidentially and integrity with each interaction.
  • Quickly identifies critical situations and takes appropriate action.
  • Ability to diffuse difficult situations and quickly change the direction of the call toward a satisfactory resolution.
  • Performs responsibilities in full compliance with standards, policies, and procedures.

What You Will Need

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of Contact Center or Customer Service experience preferred.
