What You Will Do
As a Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse with Ascension St. Francis Hospital, you will have the opportunity to provide direct patient care to age ranges from young adults to geriatrics. These are post-cardiac and vascular surgery patients. Additional patients may include other heart-related conditions requiring high-frequency monitoring and interventions as well as general medical/surgical patients with comorbidities.
You will have many opportunities for assessments, lab value analysis, patient/family teaching, wound care, IVs, and medication administration/management. This position will have the opportunity to learn drips.
