Credentialing Assistant - Medical Affairs Admin - Full-Time, Day - St. John Medical Center - Tulsa, OK
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Occassional early mornings meetings.

What You Will Do
As an Associate with St John Health System, you will have the opportunity to processe credentialing and re-credentialing applications of health care providers.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews applications, prepares verification letters and maintains database.
- Contacts medical office staff, licensing agencies, and insurance carriers to complete credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
- Completes administrative duties, such as ensuring state medical licenses are up-to-date and checking the status of new license applications.
- Ensures compliance with accreditation standards and legal requirements related to the Medical staff.
What You Will Need
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
- Preferred Credential(s):
- Credentialing Specialist.
Education:
- Diploma
- High school diploma or GED required.
Work Experience:
- None required.
- Office experience strongly preferred. Medical office experience a plus.
