Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room - PRN

We Are Hiring

As our RN in Ambulatory Surgery, you will be a key member in the fast-paced department that is very team-spirited and team-oriented. We do a variety of outpatient surgeries including, General, Urology, GYN, ENT, Dental, Plastics, Ophthalmology, and Pediatric services.

What You Will Do:

• Perform scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.
• Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient, before, during, and after procedure.
• Directly assist surgeon with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.
• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use

What You Will Need:

Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider and ACLS credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or transfer date.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
• One year Operating Room experience or completion of Periop 101 required.
