What You Will Do
This specific opening is part of the Mother-BabyTeam that serves patients at St. Agnes Hospital. In this role, you will
This is a PRN Tier 1 position on days and the hours are 7am-7pm.
Tier Tier 1 Requirements: 36 hours in a 6 week cycle with no weekend or holiday commitments
Responsibilities:
- Provides direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.
What You Will Need
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required
- Preferred Credential(s):
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- 18 months of Mother-Baby RN experience in a hospital setting.
