Compensation Specialist

Full-Time, Days 

Location: Virtual / Remote (prefer Central or Eastern time-zones)

As a Compensation Specialist with Ascension, you will have the opportunity to provide compensation services which may include participating in salary surveys, analyzing market data and budget impact of compensation decisions ensuring strategic plans are met and budgetary restraints are maintained while recruitment, retention, and internal equity issues are addressed.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures compliance with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and other federal and state regulations.
  • Provides guidance and direction for compensation changes and maintains salary structures, job grades and processes pay changes.
  • Analyzes the budget impact of compensation decisions.
  • Develops compensation analytics and metrics.
  • Assists with the development and delivery of compensation program and policy communications.

What You Will Need

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of Compensation experience preferred.
