What You Will Do:

As our Patient Care Tech, you not only impact the lives of the patients who you touch, but you have an impact on the patient’s entire family!  As our PCT, you are part of the nursing team providing direct care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Aids with entry and exit of patients
• Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living
• Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records
• Responsible for keeping patient rooms clean and orderly as well as maintaining medical equipment

What You Will Need:

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• Required Qualification(s):
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date
  • Certified Nurse Aide credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• Preferred Qualification(s):
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Certified Nursing Assistant license
• Knowledge and Skills
  • Able to professionally communicate
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
