RN – OB Triage

Join our family of dedicated, highly skilled Women’s Health nurses at Ascension St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside. As the flagship location for Ascension St. Vincent’s HealthCare, Riverside is a 528-bed hospital with a fast paced, exciting atmosphere and an ever-constant flow of patients. The Family Birth Place at Riverside, supports a 10-bed, Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for babies with special needs and our Private LDRP rooms boast a homelike environment with a private bath.
What you will do:
As an OB Triage nurse, you will handle a variety of patient calls and handle urgent/emergent walk-ins that include adult, pediatric, OB, medication questions, and triaging symptoms. You will play a vital role at the Family Birth Place, by ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate care, and takin initiative on opportunities to educate and provide care instructions.
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing
