Shift: Monday- Friday

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm - No Call

 

Radiology is a broad field that involves the use of radiologic medical technology to diagnose, manage, and treat a variety of conditions and diseases. A radiology nurse is a vital member of the radiology team involved with the assessment, planning, and care of patients who undergo diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing patient care to those individuals prior to and immediately following invasive Radiology procedures

  • Contribute to the interdisciplinary team to provide the safest care for the patient

  • Assess and coordinate the patients discharge planning needs with members of the health care team. 

  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.

 

Required Credentials:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. 

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.  

  • Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. 

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required 

    • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred

 

Work Experience:

  • None Required

  • 2+ Years Med-Surg experience preferred

What You Will Do

As an Associate with St John Health System, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Required Credential(s):
