Clinical Integration 

Shift: Full Time,Day Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30p

Quarry Lake - Austin,TX

The Quality and Improvent Coordinator works in collaboration with the Quarry Lake inter-disciplinary teams and other internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and measure the impact of the ACO and HEDIS clinical programs.

Preferred Candidates:

Preferred candidates for this position will have 1-2 years of professional experience, and have a bachelors degree from an accredited college/university with a focus in population health, public health, health education, computer science, business administration or a similar area.  Prior experience working managed healthcare plans, data abstraction, and medicaire ACO is highly preferred.

 

Desired Skills:  

Public speaking and technical writing (i.e., grants and reports) 

• ACO and HEDIS Quality Measures

• Strategic planning 

• 1-2 years professional experience

What You Will Do

As an Associate with Seton Family of Hospitals-TX, you will have the opportunity to

Organizes and coordinates quality, risk and patient safety program activities and workflow.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates quality, risk and/or patient safety aspects of The Joint Commission continuous readiness program.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/ performance measures.
  • Supports activities related to quality and risk reduction initiatives and compliance with patient safety standards.
  • Analyzes and reports on data collected from a variety of sources. Develops detailed quality financial reports for specific groups and service lines.
  • Development and implementation of a strategic plan for the DPWS program throughout the Greater Austin area.
  • Planning and coordinating formal and informal meetings of community stakeholders.
  • Policy development and review.
  • Technical writing and formatting.
  • Development of material for sharing to various entities including but not limited to; all forms of media outlets, technical training, community stakeholders, corporate and private funding sources.

What You Will Need

Education:

  • Diploma 
    • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required

Work Experience:

  • None required.
