What You Will Do
As an Associate with Ascension with the Quality Analytics team, you will have the opportunity to serve as a key resource/SME in collection and analysis of health plans' measure performance data on various quality metrics from multiple sources for the development of dashboards, reports and statistical information. You will also be delivering the insights from these reports to our key customers in a consultative manner and bring their feedback to make our tools better.
Enhance and support standard dashboards, reports and analytic tools combining data from various EMR and claims-based data sets.
Collaborate with Clinical and Network Services, Member Outreach, Marketing, Clinical Operations, Hospital and Physician Providers, and Network Management teams on gap closure at member events.
Collaborate with contracted health plans and internal teams on quality initiatives, reconcile gaps in care reports from health plans, and support the submission of supplemental data files to partner health plans.
Analyze and interpret data or information (e.g. clinical, administrative, Quality) to ensure they meet standards, are compliant and/or are accurate and complete.
Support Q4 push projects for gap closure (EMR, HEDIS retrieval, data compliance, etc.)
Stays abreast of upcoming industry changes to definitions. Communicates upcoming changes to appropriate individuals. Benchmarks national best practices and makes recommendations for change as appropriate.
Provides consultative services via visual, spoken, and written education.
Analyzes data to forecast the financial impact of quality measures’ status.
What You Will Need
Three to Five years of experience using data analytics tools such as Tableau, SQL etc.
Experience working for a health plan or hospital system preferred.
Experience with data manipulations for HEDIS, STARS, eCQM, ACO and other Quality Measures preferred.
Our teams and customers are distributed across USA, so you must be comfortable working remotely using online collaboration tools and travel sometimes (25%)
