Shift Details: 7on/7off – 2p-10p during weekdays and 6a-6p on Saturday and Sunday – 64 hours biweekly
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required
One year of Nursing experience required
One year of Charge experience preferred
ICU and ED experience preferred
Extra component of Pay in lieu of PTO/Holiday

Assigns, directs, educates and monitors nursing and support staff during assigned shift. Contributes to or performs performance evaluations of staff.
Assesses daily patient care needs and develops and distributes patient care assignments, ensuring that population appropriate patient care is given.
Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established channels.
May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.
St. Vincent’s St. Clair hospital is in Pell City, AL. It is a 40-bed medical surgical and ICU hospital and a 12-bed Emergency Department right off Interstate 20 between Birmingham and heading towards Atlanta, GA.

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
