What You Will Do

As an Associate with Ascension, you will have the opportunity to investigate professional and general liability occurrences.


  • Researches and reviews assigned claims by navigating multiple platforms capturing the data/information necessary for processing. Communicates regarding adjustments to resolve claims errors.
  • Completes necessary adjustments to claims and ensures the proper benefits are applied to each claim by using appropriate processes and procedures.
  • Reads and assesses applicable medical documents.
  • Communicates information with a broad audience to support applicable procedures.

What You Will Need


  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.


  • Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Medical claims experience strongly preferred.
  • AHIP accreditation preferred.
