Asst-Linen Svcs - Laundry 001 - Full-Time, Rotating - Ascension Materials Management Building
5am to 6pm Monday through Sunday. 40 hours/week. Schedule will be flexible, based on staffing needs at each location.
This is Full Time Flex/Float Position for Ascension SE MI Linen Services. The position will pay a $2/hour differential, with the expectation that this associate will rotate throughout the Southeast Michigan Health System. This associate will be scheduled based on the staffing needs of the following hospital locations: Ascension, St. John Hospital, Ascension Macomb-Oakland (Warren Campus), Ascension Providence Southfield and Ascension Providence Park, Novi. The scheduled shifts would be between the hours of 5am-6:30pm. Traveling is involved from Novi to the Eastside of Detroit.
We are looking for a candidate that is comfortable with manual labor. The linen carts to be transported (clean & soiled) are approx 600 lbs on average, candidate will push/pull two carts at a time. Required lifting, bending and pulling. The position requires walking for long periods of time throughout the day.

What You Will Do
