Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift. 6:30am-7pm. 36 hours per week.

Neuro Stepdown is a 28-bed unit with a focus on providing high quality, evidence-based care for acute neurological injury patients. The Stroke team is staffed on the unit providing us ability to treat every stroke patient as a priority. The St. John Heyman Stroke Center program is nationally recognized, earning the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association's Get with the Guidelines - Stroke Gold Plus Award for three consecutive years. This unit is fast paced and a place to truly grow in knowledge and get immediate gratification.

What You Will Do
As an Associate with Ascension St. John, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
What You Will Need
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing .
Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
