Shift: Monday- Friday

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm, or 8:00am - 4:30pm


Call Required:  Must be able to arrive at hospital within 30 minutes of call. Call rotation averages 1 weekend every 7-8 weeks, plus 2-3 weeknights per month. Call frequency is subject to change depending on varying factors within the department at any time.  


Radiology is a broad field that involves the use of radiologic medical technology to diagnose, manage, and treat a variety of conditions and diseases. A radiology nurse is a vital member of the radiology team involved with the assessment, planning, and care of patients who undergo diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with invasive and non-invasive radiology tests.

  • Sedate and monitor patients throughout the radiology procedure.

  • Contribute to the interdisciplinary team to provide the safest care for the patient

  • Asses and coordinate the patients discharge planning needs with members of the health care team. 

  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.


Required Credentials:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. 

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.  

  • Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. 


  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required 

    • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred


Work Experience:

  • None Required

  • 2+ Years Critical Care Experience Preferred
