What You Will Do

Ascension Health Ministry Service Center is seeking to fill a full-time position of Travel & Expense Supervisor.  This individual will be expected to help maintain our current T&E strategy by supporting all Associates, Candidates and Leadership for purposes of business and meeting travel and expense. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Associate Travel & Expense transactions are handled in a timely and efficient manner that achieves the optimal balance between cost/efficiency and service.
  • Support the overall Travel, Expense, and Card (TEC) program/process by supporting operations for expense reimbursement processes, policies and systems  
  • Act as a conduit between utilized suppliers including but not limited to our TMC, ERP and Financial institutions to manage and solve issues and improvements  
  • Identifies and implements travel process improvements
  • Completing quality assurance validations and identify new opportunities  
  • Monitors, troubleshoots and continuously improves policies, procedures, and processes to support sourcing and contracting initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with internal and external requirements; develops and uses reporting tools to identify and manage problems

What You Will Need

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required
  • Associate's degree highly preferred

Work Experience:

  • 1 year of Travel & Expense (knowledge of the travel industry acumen and technology) experience required.
  • 2-4 years of Travel & Expense (knowledge of the travel industry acumen and technology) experience preferred.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
