What You Will Do
The Care Management Outcomes Intern will be responsible for integrating healthcare datasets in our Google Cloud Platform with care management participation data to iteratively design and develop an executive-facing dashboard that effectively uses data visualization to tell a story about the delivery of our care management value proposition.
The intern will:
Work with the health outcomes team and executive leadership to outline the design for the dashboard.
Use BigQuery on our Google Cloud Platform to pull data and integrate it with other data sources in SQL.
Collaborate on variable definitions and write code to create key data elements and metrics for the dashboard.
Develop the dashboard in Tableau and solicit feedback from the health outcomes team and executive leadership, making iterative improvements over time.
Produce detailed documentation and high quality code .
What You Will Need
Internship will run May-August with some flexibility based on the applicant’s school schedule.
Internship is paid, part time with flexible hours and an opportunity to work some hours remotely.
Applicants are required to be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program preferably in the field of statistics, biostatistics, data science, or equivalent.
Applicants should be curious and self-motivated with a strong interest in distilling large amounts of data into appealing visualizations that effortlessly tell a compelling story.
Proficiency in SQL and Tableau required.
