We are HIRING in Austin,Texas!  Do you have a comprehensive knowledge of Federal Uniform Guidance?  Do you have experience as an Managing Federal and State Audits?  Are you looking to be a part of a healthcare company on a mission to make a difference?  If so, we would love to speak with you about an exciting opportunity to join us as an Accounting and Reporting Manager.  The position will be responsible for managing audits for all of Ascension, acting as a liaison between our auditors and senior leaders, Federal Indirect Cost Proposals and grant applications.

What You Will Do

As an Associate with Ascension, you will have the opportunity to manage financial accounting and reporting for designated entities. Serve as a primary business partner to financial planning.


  • Manages day to day operations including journal entries, account reconciliations, business case input, and other accounting activities.
  • Develops work plans to successfully achieve objectives and goals in support of financial initiatives.
  • Prepares monthly financial reporting and analysis.
  • Contributes to financial reporting and technical accounting transactions for entities including writing or reviewing the writing of technical accounting position papers.

What You Will Need


  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience required.
  • 5 years of experience preferred.
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.
