Community Outreach Coordinator | Our Lady of Victory Hospital

We Are Hiring

We are looking for an energized, organized  and skilled relationship developer for our Community Engagement Outreach Coordinator position at Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Stanley WI!

Part Time Days | 48 Hours per two week pay period | Hours are generally Monday-Friday during normal business hours, but flexibility to work occasional weeknds  or evenings will be needed for this position. (This will be discussed in detail at the time of an interview.)

Travel is also required for this position. A lot of the work for this position will be done within the community. Mileage is reimbursed at a federal rate. (This will also be discussed at the time of an interview.)

 

Ascension Our Lady of Victory Hospital offers critical access healthcare services to residents of Stanley and surrounding communities. For more than 75 years, Ascension Our Lady of Victory Hospital has served the counties of Chippewa, Clark, Taylor and Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In addition to being designated as a Level IV Trauma Center, we offer primary care services, expanded rehabilitation space, urgent care and a 24-hour emergency department. What You Will Do

As an Associate with Ascension Our Lady of Victory Hospital, you will have the opportunity to coordinate community outreach programs and activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes community needs to determine program opportunities, scope and goals. Tracks and reports data to substantiate efforts.
  • Maintains relationships with community resources, referral sources, agencies, and associations.
  • Maintains event calendar. Coordinates and trains volunteer staff for outreach and educational events.
  • Coordinates educational programs and outreach activities for associates and/or clients.

 

  • Community Health
  • Develop, nurture and maintain collaborative relationships between the hospital and the community in an effort to improve the community’s health.
  • Collaboratively compile and analyze data to identify top community health needs and then   determine corresponding program/strategy opportunities.
  • Identify, track and report processes and outcomes for community health improvement programming.
  • Communicate with leaders within the healthcare system and the community to share and advise on community health improvement.
  • Volunteer Services

  • Recruit, engage, coordinate and train volunteer staff for outreach and educational events and function in the hospital.

This person will demonstrate the Mission, Vision and Values of Ascension Wisconsin in all interactions and at work. 

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Preferred Credential(s):
    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA). 
    • Drivers License. 
    • Social Worker credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work. 

Education:

  • Diploma 
    • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree or higher strongly preferred.

Work Experience:

  • None required. Experience in Community Engagement and Outreach strongly preferred. Healthcare system experience preferred.
