What You Will Do
As an Associate with Ascension System Office-MO, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead and direct compliance activities and resources.
Reports to the Operations Compliance Officer and closely collaborates with the Senior Directors of Compliance in the Markets and the Ascension Compliance Officers, as needed.
Performs data analyses in support of compliance initiatives, and is responsible for the utilization, continuous improvement, and training regarding data analytics.
Oversees routine, ad hoc, continuous monitoring, and investigatory reporting, trending, and data analysis to help ensure compliance with Ascension policies and procedures and to promote compliance goals and initiatives
Coordinates with key Ascension contacts to understand data sources and systems and methods to obtain data in the most efficient and secure manner as possible
Oversees the design of complex data analyses in support of ongoing compliance initiatives
Oversees monitoring of potential billing areas and risks to management along with potential root causes and solutions, whenever possible
Oversees reporting of findings to key stakeholders including the Chief Compliance Officer in both verbal and written presentation format, utilizing graphic representation of data in a variety of formats, whenever possible
Works with the team to develop new applications, methodologies, and/or files for collecting, analyzing and presenting healthcare compliance data
Continuously evaluates and monitors data and database output quality and accuracy
Supports ongoing function and improvement of database applications and analytical tools
Educates and assists others, as directed, on the utilization of data analytic functions and database management
Identifies new data management and analysis techniques for previously under-audited risk areas
