RN-Cardiovascular Unit * New Grad *
Shift: Full Time, 36 Hours Weekly-Nights

The Cardiovascular Center is a total of 40 beds.
20 beds are on Cardiovascular and 20 beds on Telemetry. This is a fast-paced unit caring for critically ill patients that require intervention and/or assessment more frequently. This includes patients with arterial lines, post- operative patients, transvenous pacers, medication drips and TPA’s. The Nurses on this unit spend 50% of their time in Cardiovascular and 50% on our Telemetry Unit. You will be cross trained on both units.
What You Will Do:
As an Associate with St. Agnes Healthcare-MD, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
•Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
•Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
•Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
•Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What You Will Need:
•BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
•Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
•Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
•One year of RN experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
