Department: Acute Stepdown
Schedule: Full-Time, Night and Day shift available. 6:30PM-7:00AM or 6:30am-7pm. 36 hours per week. 3, 12-hour shifts.
Location: Ascension St. John Medical Center
This position qualifies for a $10,000 sign on bonus for experienced RNs.

What You Will Do
As an Associate with Ascension St. John, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Qualities our Acute Care Nurse should possess:
Must have a keen sense of ethics
Confidence with the ability to take direction and constructive criticism
Educational competence and continual desire to learn skills to reflect current nursing practices.
Able to communicate effectively in a variety of formats in all areas of practice.
Demonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.
What You Will Need
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing .
Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
