What You Will Do

As a leader with Ascension Medical Group (AMG), you will have the opportunity to direct business development and strategic operations focusing on the growth of Borgess physician practice groups. Collaborating with the AMG leadership team you will work to acquire new practice opportunites and lead the direction on implementation.    This role will have a stong focus on strategic project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Organizes operations to provide high quality cost effective services.
  • Responsible for building relationships with physicians, businesses and communities in an effort to establish partnerships and affiliations.
  • Actively identifies conventional and non-conventional growth opportunities that will lead to additional volume and revenue, improving ministry's strategic positioning in the market place.
  • Designs and prioritizes the strategic growth opportunities within and across markets with employers, health systems, payers, government entities, brokers, and other key potential clients or strategic partners.
  • Contributes to the development and continuous improvement of services, policies, processes, and programs delivered.

What You Will Need

 

Education:

 Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience required leading business development and strategic growth operations in a physician clinic setting.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
  • Experience with project management. Proven background leading large scale strategic projects from inception through execution and final implementation highly preferred.
  • Prior experience working in physician acquisition strongly preferred.
  • Talent in building relationships and establishing credibility.
