(ACO Analytics Operations Support)

Seton Health Alliance Quarry Lake - Austin, TX

Full Time Days

8AM-5PM, Monday - Friday

(Hours can be flexible within normal office hour parameters; e.g. 7AM-4PM or 9AM-6PM)

 

As a Supervisor with the Seton Health Alliance, you will have the opportunity to provide day-to-day support and leadership for a team of high-performing analysts. This role will be focused on managing our existing file flow and analytics request processes, coordinating with business stakeholders on any issues or updates, coordinating with the Analytics Dev Supervisor on release planning and operational hand-off of new development ready for deployment, and supervising team members responsible for file flow process maintenance and operational automation.

What You Will Do

As an Associate with Ascension Seton, you will have the opportunity to supervise planning and implementation of functional area-based computer applications consistent with overall organization business strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with managers, analysts and business applications professionals on analyzing, conducting research and defining business applications for a growing team.
  • Determines design strategy and provides system design in a highly specialized and highly complex area.
  • Designs and monitors necessary testing and implementation plans. Troubleshoots operation and user problems.
  • Develops work teams, delegates tasks and coordinates unit or departmental information systems projects, budgets and maintenance. Coordinates staff training in proper use, application and security of department computer system. Assists in training all staff in the use of information system. Provides feedback to computer user's questions/concerns.
  • Makes recommendations for implementation of new systems and technologies based on awareness of current and future directions of the business, industry and associated technologies where appropriate.
  • Oversee ongoing data operations/analytics processes.
  • Provide input to product development team on needed enhancements/defect fixes.
  • Inform and engage stakeholders on data operations and analytical process updates.
  • Manage escalations for data workflow issues.
  • Oversee periodic data operations trending analysis and identify performance improvement opportunities.

What You Will Need

Education:

  • Diploma 
    • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required
    • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, information technology, or related field preferred

Work Experience:

1 year of experience required.

4 years of experience preferred. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

  •         Experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry strongly preferred.
  •         Familiarity with Accountable Care Organizations and Value-Based Care strongly preferred.
  •         Project management experience preferred.
  •         Experience with SQL/Tableau and at least one programming language (C#, python,etc.) preferred.
