What You Will Do
Our Nursing Supervisors (House Supervisor) provide oversight for multiple hospital departments in support of or in the absence of unit management. This would include facilitating throughput from the Emergency Department to nursing units as well as managing and balancing staff for all units to provide safe, efficient and effective patient care.
This position is per diem. The minimum requirement is 96 hours per quarter, which is approximately one 8-hour shift per week. We are specifically looking for someone very flexible who can work both weekdays and weekends, who is available all shifts, and who would be available for holidays, difficult to staff shifts, call outs and four hour shifts 3P-7P or 7P-11P.
What You Will Need
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital setting and prior experience as a Charge Nurse or House Supervisor is required.
