RN Interventional Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

As a Cath Lab nurse, you will have direct impact on patient’s life and make a difference each day by educating and comforting our patients undergoing procedures.

 

Our nurses have the support from everyone in the team\, from the physicians, to the CV techs, to the scrub techs.  The combination of everyone’s skill and experience makes the Cath Lab run smoothly and help to back up the growing skills of a new associate.

Schedule: Flexible 8- Hour Day Shift with Paid On-Call Time

Monday-Friday 0700-1530

 

With St John Health System, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

  • Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.

  • Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Required Credential(s):

    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. 

    • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. 

  • Preferred Credential(s):

    • Advanced Life Support. 

Education:

  • Diploma 

    • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required

Work Experience:

  • Highly Preferred: 2+ years Critical Care or Cath Lab RN Experience
