What You Will Do

As an Associate with Sacred Heart Health System-FL, you will have the opportunity to schedule medical services for patients with other healthcare providers for assigned patient population.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates scheduling and referrals to other healthcare providers and services. Obtains approval for schedule changes or cancellations as appropriate.
  • Assists with maintenance and updating of provider contact information.
  • Ensures that all medical appointments, special instructions and patient information is entered into electronic medical system.
  • Follows site-specific protocols and maintains up-to-date documentation to ensure compliance.

What You Will Need

Education:

  • Diploma 
    • High school diploma or GED required

Work Experience:

  • Experience in a physician's office or clinic is strongly preferred and those with experience will be given first priority.
  • Orthopedics experience highly preferred.
  • Experience with insurance, referrals and billing highly preferred.
  • High-level customer service.
  • Ability to work with a team.
