VP-Medical Affairs - Medical Affairs Admin 002 - Part-Time, Days - WIAPP 2251 N Shore Dr - Rhinelander, WI

*Work Schedule: 7AM-7PM, Monday-Friday.  The position will require some travel between hospital sites in northern Wisconsin.

What You Will Do

As an Associate with Columbia St. Mary's-WI, you will have the opportunity to develop strategies to align with the mission, vision and values of the organization. Provides oversight for medical and clinical areas to ensure achievement of goals for the department(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership to management within areas of responsibility.
  • Oversees the development and continuous improvement of services, policies, processes, and programs, including medical practice review, governance, credentialing, privileging, peer review, medical information systems, and telemedicine opportunities.
  • Formulates and implements operational strategies and initiatives, including patient safety, performance improvement and physician recruitment.
  • Oversees operations, budget, financial targets, and human resources management.
  • Monitors market trends, market share data and physician practices to look for opportunities for business growth.
  • Implements new clinical initiatives and business plans as directed as the executive lead.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Preferred Credential(s):
    • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board. 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required Master's degree preferred

Work Experience:

  • 7 years of experience required.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
