RN Registered Nurse - High Risk OB

Our outstanding Postpartum/High Risk OB unit is looking for an outstanding, compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team of mission-driven, Maternal/Child professionals! 
 
Our team of dedicated associates work on a 25-bed Postpartum and High Risk OB unit.  As a high-risk OB nurse, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the OBGYN and Maternal Child team to safely care for mothers who need specialized care. This department is focused on family-centered care. Patient population includes high risk OB, postpartum, breast surgery, GYN surgery as well as medical overflow. 
 
SCHEDULE: 
  • Full-Time Nights - Will work three 12-hour shifts per week (6:30pm - 07:00am) with alternating weekend shifts. 
As a member of Postpartum/High Risk OB, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced unit that supports teamwork and support, while caring for the smallest patients. Our nurses work together as a team and care for each other as family. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. 
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.  
  • Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. 
EDUCATION:
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required
WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous RN experience in a maternal/child area is preferred; Med/surg, post- partum antepartum experience desired
