What You Will Do
As a Medical Assistant with St. Vincent, you will have the opportunity to assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
What You Will Need
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 90 days of hire date or job transfer date.
One or more of the following:
Registered Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Certified Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
High school diploma or GED required
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
Experience with: EKG, Venipuncture, medication administration, and point of care testing needed
