What You Will Do

As an Associate with St. John Health-MI, you will have the opportunity to

Develops strategies to align with the mission, vision and values of the organization. Provides oversight for fundraising efforts to ensure achievement of goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops strategy and growth business/marketing plans in conjunction with executive leadership. Monitors industrial and national trends and forecasts to develop priorities aimed towards growth objectives.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures which guide and support the provision of services and meet all productivity plans. Creates a culture of continuous quality improvement in service delivery and innovation.
  • Creates a culture and environment that attracts, develops and retains qualified employees/associates. Creates a shared vision with staff and demonstrates the ability to articulate it clearly. Develops, energizes and motivates staff through example, coaching, and teaching.
  • Leads financial planning. Develops budgets and achieves financial targets. Ensures that department operations comply with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Formulates and implements operational strategies and initiatives pertaining to the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors.
  • May oversee communication with key constituencies on a regular basis; serves as primary liaison to the foundation board and maintains a vital and productive fundraising board, board committees and (in some foundations) other, subsidiary boards.

What You Will Need

Education:
  • Diploma 
    • Bachelor's degree required Master's degree preferred
Work Experience:
  • 7 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
