Our Lady of Peace in Lewiston, NY -- a part of Ascension Living -- has an IMMEDIATE OPENING for a "Housekeeping Aide" on a Full-Time/Evenings/37.50 Hours Per Week basis! Please apply today if you are interested!
Schedule: work every other weekend scheduled 3-11p full time

What You Will Do
The Housekeeping Aide performs a variety of cleaning tasks in order to maintain the Facility in a sanitary and orderly manner and also serves as back-up for the Laundry Aides. You will also strive to incorporate the philosophy and mission of Our Lady of Peace
Cleans residents rooms including dusting furniture, woodwork, equipment and dust mop floors.
Cleans closets and drawers as needed. Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility rooms and bathrooms.
Collects refuge and regulated medical waste and disposes of it according to the established policy and procedure.
Adheres to all safety issues relative to hazardous waste, soiled linen and proper wearing apparel.
Maintains residents/employee information confidential at all times.
Moves furniture and other heavy objects as required utilizing proper lifting and/or transfer techniques.
Empties and cleans wastes baskets, relines containers and liners.
Completes job duties within required timeframe, according to established schedules or workflow requirements.
Makes beds and changes linen.
Performs other duties as assigned and requested.
What You Will Need
Minimum Education: Grammar School (PREFERRED)
Education:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Minimum Experience: No prior experience or training required (on-the-job training provided!)
Preferred Experience: 6 months of Environmental Services experience in a Healthcare Facility
